The Physics are a group that originally started rapping together at Seattle's O'Dea High School. The group blends a sort of futuristic jazz-hop that harkens back to the days of A Tribe Called Quest and Digable Planets. Their 2007 debut Future Talk was critically-lauded and contained one of my favorite tracks, "Ready For We,"
This track is off of their High Society FreEP, which they released back in June and can be downloaded here. I'd definitely suggest copping the rest of the EP if you like this track. Rumor has it they plan on releasing another project before the end of summer.
