What's In Rotation, Vol. II: Nice As I Am

The second installment of the series yields a few more songs than originally intended as it's been a little over half a month since the first installment.  I whittled it down as much as I felt I could without losing the integrity of the playlist.  Hit the link for the tracklist/download link.

01) Theophilus London - "Humdrum Town" (decided to start off the playlist a little slower this time to reflect some of the music I've been predominately listening to over the past month)
02) Atmosphere - "The Number One" (one of my top-10 Atmosphere songs.  Slug is easily one of my favorite emcees)
03) Joell Ortiz - "On Tour Freestyle" (another of my favorite emcees, this one sees him rhyming over Wale's "World Tour")
04) Emilio Rojas & DJ Green Lantern feat. Mateo- "Breaking Me Down"
05) Kid CuDi - "Soundtrack 2 My Life" (one of the better tracks off of Man On The Moon)
06) Slaughterhouse feat. Bun B - "The One (Travis Barker Remix)"
07) XV feat. Henok Achido - "Fly, Fresh, Forever" (A very good up and coming emcee for those of you still sleeping on the kid from Kansas)
08) Gotham Green feat. Freddie Gibbs - "Nice As I Am"
09) Young Buck - "Homecoming" (one of the few Buck songs I'll admit to liking)
10) Nas feat. Jay-Z - "Black Republican" (a classic collab by two of the greatest)
11) Mad Rad - "Superdope!"
12) Gucci Mane feat. Usher - "Spotlight" (this song isn't strong on substance, but dammit if it's not catchy.  It's also one of the few tracks I can tolerate Gucci Mane on)
13) Cam'ron - "Hey Ma" (just a classic song, no further description necessary)
14) Idle Warship + Mick Boogie - "The Warship" (Talib & crew rhyme over Edwin Starr's classic)
15) 2Pac - "Changes"
16) Max Haben - "US Freestyle" (It takes a lot of guts to go over an instrumental after Brother Ali.  This doesn't quite live up to the original, but it's still pretty damm good)
17) Brother Ali - "Faheem" (One of the most touching songs I've ever heard)
18) P.H.I.L.T.H.Y - "Love Is"
19) Wale feat. Chrisette Michele - "Shades" (probably the best song off of the best album of the year thus far)
20) Saukrates feat. Andreena Mill- "Hot Like Summer"
21) Wordsmith feat. Various Artists - "You Never Know"
22) Jon Hope - "Real Talk Pt. 2" (The first song I heard from this artist and it blew me away)
23) Chuck L.i. - "Blown Away" (Prod. Best Kept Secret)
24) Macklemore - "Otherside" (It's great to see one of my favorite local rappers finally getting some buzz on the national hip hop internet scene.  This cover of RHCP really shows the turmoil he's gone through over the past couple years)
25) Logics, Geologic, & Fice - "The Last Hope" (this version>>>>than the original Drake/Kardinal Offishall track)
26) Dyme Def - "LetitBe" (Probably my favorite track of all time, by one of my favorite groups)
27) The Incomparable Shakespeare - "Wonderwall"

Peace, Love, & Hip Hop,
Noah
